Description of Surrounding Area
We are in the Woodlands in Jay, NY -just off NY Route 86, 16 miles from Lake Placid. The great skiing and beautiful views at nearby Whiteface Mountain, Olympic venues at Lake Placid, friendly charm of Saranac Lake are right at hand. Burlington Vermont is a short drive and bridge/ferry crossing away, 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Montreal is about 2 hours. Right here in Jay and AuSable is world reknown trout fishing. You can fish, boat or swim in the 6th largest lake the US - Lake Champlain, just 30 minutes away.
Description of Vacation Rental Property
Fir Lodge is an executive-quality chalet with three bedrooms and a huge sleeping loft. 20' ceiling and stone fireplace in living room; super kitchen with Jenn-aire range; 3 bathrooms; master bath suite with double vanity, shower, and private Jacuzzi for 2; swimming pool (summer only), 6 person hottub all year; 160 TV channels; 12 minutes to Whiteface, 20 minutes to downtown Lake Placid. Fully equipped
Restrictions
# of persons per night is limited to 12
Pets must be pre-approved on individual basis; an extra security may be required.
Rates & Availability
By the week or weekend only; Weekly rates from $1000 to $2000, depending on season/Holidays. New Years 2002 is not available.

Discounts Offered
Canadian currency will be accepted at par through 6/30/02. (Canadian citizens only)
